Staff and children were thrilled that so many parents joined us for our maths learning on Tuesday. We started off the morning with a presentation from Mrs Matthews explaining Stanton's approach to maths teaching and  learning. This followed with some time in classrooms learning with the children.

We saw the use of C.P.A in action. This means using Concrete resources (hands on equipment), Pictoral representation (pictures and diagrams) and Abstract methods (number/algebraic sentences) .
