Langley Fitzurse CE Primary School - Job vacancies

We have two vacancies from September 2021 for confident, experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated and hard working team.

 

· Teaching Assistant – 16.5 hours per week

Working closely with the class teacher in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, in order to support our wonderful children to thrive and achieve their best. The hours are split over three days per week – Monday, Thursday & Friday, from 08.45am – 3.15pm. This is a term time contract, initially for a fixed term period for the 2021/22 academic year.

 

· Teaching Assistant to support a Named Pupil – 13 hours per week

Working with a child in our Year 1 class to support their learning and inclusion in class on a 1:1 basis. The child has an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) and requires support especially in the areas of hearing impairment, speech, language cognition and learning.

The hours are split over four mornings per week, from 08.45am – 12pm.

This is a term time contract, directly connected to a specific child.

 

Salary details for both positions:

Grade D (spinal point 4-6 depending on experience) £9.81 - £10.21 per hour
