Discovering Together

The Stone Age Woods

We had a great time on Tuesday morning, building our Mesolithic Stone Age shelters in the depths of the woods.

The children worked so well in their teams to design and construct a mesolithic shelter, fit for any Stone Age person. The wealth of skills they were using whilst in the woods was fantastic and they were very proud of their finished product.

Each group then had the opportunity to show the rest of the class their shelter, using thier best persuasive language to 'sell' their shelter to any willing buyers! It was fantastic to see what the children have learnt about the Stone Age this term and apply this learning to this challenge.

Thank you to all the parents who came along to help. We hope you enjoyed sharing our learning.
